ABOUT CINDY CASH
Cindy Cash is a multi-talented author, actress, singer, songwriter, and producer—deeply rooted in American music history as the daughter of the legendary Johnny Cash. With a life spent both in the spotlight and behind the scenes, Cindy has forged her own creative path while honoring the legacy of the Cash family name.
In 1997, she authored The Cash Family Scrapbook, a heartfelt and personal glimpse into her family’s story, with a moving introduction written by her father. The book remains a cherished collector’s item for fans around the world.
As an actress, Cindy appeared in numerous film and television productions throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Her roles included performances in The Cradle Will Fall (CBS TV movie with Lauren Hutton, James Farentino, and Ben Murphy), Murder in Coweta County (alongside Andy Griffith and Johnny Cash), and The Last Days of Frank and Jesse James, in which she appeared with both her father and Kris Kristofferson. She also portrayed Ella Mae, Bob Ford’s sporting lady, and participated in regional theater and commercial work, including an appearance for WZZT.
Her talents extend beyond the camera. Cindy co-produced The Long Road Home and spent 27 years touring on the road with her father, singing on stage with him and working as his trusted hair stylist and makeup artist.
